I've heard of a vacuum motor from one of the Buick vehicles, the Buick Grand 
National I think, being used as a vacuum source.  You could mount it under 
the bumper or even on the tongue.  I'm not sure exactly how this works but a 
sensor keeps the vacuum maintained at a certain psi.

There are other devices on the market now that eliminated the entire booster 
setup on your tongue.  I don't have the info in front of me right now but 
maybe someone on the forum can remember some of the company names producing 
the equipment.
