There is a much more effective and simpler solution. Our Airstream is 
parked by our house in rural Amador County CA.
We have had a massive infusion of voles (field mice I think). This means 
you can see 20 or 30 running arround in any given
period of time. Apparently this is a 6 to 8 year cycle. They get into 
everything and into my Airstream. What works well
is Decon. Set some out in the trailer. They eat and get thirsty and 
leave and die. It does not take many traps, maybe two or three,
to cure the problem and there has to be hundreds and hundreds of them 
out here near by. The reason? Each  new vole would have to
discover the entry on their own.
