[A/S] Mousing
Regarding the thread on humane mousing. I hate the sticky paper too, don't even like
doing the mice in at all. BUT, I also don't like the destruction they cause, living in the
woods it's just a fact of life (and this is the time they really start coming in).
A good way to use the traps and not lose the bait is: use a glue gun and a piece of feed
corn. You could add some peanut butter on top of that. Jim even attaches the traps to a
larger board so they can't drag it off.
Last fall we also threw moth balls (lavender scented ones)in every opening we could find. It
will stink up the trailer but as soon as you open it up again it clears out in a hurry. I still
saw evidence of some mouse activity but it could have been there before(we just
purchased it last fall)
This year I'll also try the dryer sheets-
