[A/S] A/C Thermostat

Hi
I hope I can get some help on a problem I have. My 1979 Soverign has two  
thermostats, one is for the suburban furnace, it is working fine. The second one  
next to it was for the original Armstrong AC unit the trailer still has. The  
thermostat had been replaced at one time and is not the Armstrong one. That 
one  is now gone out, I removed it and now have three wires that went to it. A  
red,green and brown wire. My question is can I get a regular type home  
thermostat for this and if so does anyone know how to hookup the wires? The  
trailer has always had TWO thermostats from what I can see in the owners  manual.
Thanks for any help. I will using the trailer in two weeks for a trip and  
would like to have the ac on the trip.
