There is no series of vehicle that has no issues.  The 01 Duramax could be
said to have an issue with the injectors.  The original warranty on the
engine is 100,000 miles.  Because of, in my opinion, external influences
there were some injector problems.  GM extended the injector warranty to
200,000 miles.

The original window sticker for my '01 lists "LOCKING REAR DIFFERENTIAL" as
an option.  

Tell the dealer that you know of a '01 GMC Sierra, 2500HD Duramax 4WD, with
88,000 miles, a SnugTop shell and a BedRug liner that is for sale at a price
of $18,000.  His price has to be more than that.
