I have to agree with everything Hunter said. You might want to consider the
"tow vehicle wheelbse factor"
generally expressed as  "The alleged safe wheelbase factor is 110 for a 20'
trailer and then adding
2" for every foot thereafter."  I think your Mercedes wheelbase is 111
inches. If you are dedicated to a short wheelbase SUV as a tow car (the
horror stories with these are endless), at least consider a Vintage much
lighter Bambi as opposed to a new one. My 1961 Avion 20ft Tourist only
weighs 2900lbs but I still tow it with a full size pickup (Nissan Titan).
