We are looking forward to buying our first Airstream trailer, but I am
getting conflicting information as to what our car can pull. We have a
2003 Mercedes ML 350 SUV with factory towing package. It has a
reported gross towing capacity of 5000 pound. One dealer tells us that
we can pull noting larger than a 19 foot Bambi, while another says we
can go up to a 22 or 25 foot.
Has anyone had experience towing with an ML 350 or similar 6 cylinder
SUV?
