I had dim lights trouble when I first bought my trailer. I ended up changing tow vehicles before I started fixing the dim lights and with the new tow vehicle the lights came up properly. So, my problem was in the wiring of the tow vehicle. FWIW. Who or what is SWMBO? Wayne
