We just got back from vacation with our 1979 International. Prior to
leaving I installed two new batteries. After a few days our interior
lights started dimming and the battery indicator showed that the
batteries were down. We were on AC and the lights should have been
running on the AC not the batteries. I then noticed that the AC
indicator light was not on, however the plugs all were working so we
could plug in any lights or fans that we wanted. I also noticed that
the "hum" from the regulator was not there. The batteries were not
recharging while the trailer was plugged in or driving.
What might be wrong and what should I do?
Thanks
Dave
