HI, Everyone:

	Well, we did it!  We bought a Summit White, 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 4X4 
SB Duramax diesel, Allison Transmission, locking rear differential, 3.73:1 
rear end, LT trim (lotsa stuff I wouldn't have bought - XM radio, leather 
seats, all kinds of electronics that will take me years to understand, etc. 
-  but the price was right and the truck was already here).
	The Allison transmission will take some getting used to, as it notices 
when you release the gas...er...diesel pedal and slows you down.
	Got a cap locally, and a front-mounted hitch.  Cap windows only slide 
open, but I couldn't reach anything inside anyhow - I can barely reach the 
cap door when it's up, to close it.  Plan to replace the ridiculous 26-gal 
fuel tank with a 45-gal one.
	It's looking like I will need a 6"-drop stinger, or maybe even an 8" one, 
*and* the 2" one I have now to use with the front hitch.   The 2" one will 
live in the garage, however.
