[A/S] Re: FW: Weight equalizing hitch bars - and wheel balancing

Oliver.

All Airstream and Argosy trailers have a "design ball height".

However, rarely, if ever, can that dimension be used to set your hitch
ball height.

Henschen axles are weight sensitive. Therefore depending on the payload
in the trailer, the ball height will lower.

Additionally, and all too often, a given trailers axles may not be up
to par. Likewise then, a given published ball height dimension is wrong.

The only correct method of establishing a ball height on any Airstream
or Argosy trailer built since 1961, is to typically load the trailer,
and then, measure that trailers ball height.

In practice, you will find several inches difference between one
trailer to another, even with the same year and length.

No two owners load their trailer the same. Therefore again, the best
way is to measure each and every trailer.

The results will amaze you.
