I don't neet to replace any trim that goes inside of metal channels.

The credenza and nightstand tops are particle board or plywood with a 
veneer finish on the top and the exposed edge has a groove cut along 
it, centered all down the edge.  The plastic trim is brown, slightly 
rounded on the exposed part, and is the same witdth as the credenza 
top is thick.  The spline on the back of the trim, which inserts in 
the slot might be barbed.

On a side note, I had to remove some "wood" trim from a metal channel 
once and broke it into a million pieces trying to get it back in the 
channel later.  My solution was to put some woodgrained contact paper 
in the channel instead.  Unless you are up close you will never know 
the difference.
