I use the Jordon 2020 and am well pleased with its performance.  My first 
brake controllers were the old Kelsey-Hayes units that tapped into the master 
cylinder.  They gave excellent proportional trailer breaking.  The Jordon closely 
approximates the old Kelsey-Hayes units.  One plus on the Jordon is their 
customer service.  If you call their 800 number, most likely Mr. Jordon will 
answer the phone.

There are other excellent brake controllers that others will tell you about.
