[A/S] Front-mounted hitches

Hi, Listees:

	I need to be able to spot my trailer at home.  I am considering putting a 
front-mounted hitch on my 1999 Suburban 2500, 2WD, to make that easier.  I 
have some questions that perhaps someone with experience with these hitches 
could answer:

1)  What I have found (Reese, Hidden Hitch) on the internet, front-mounted 
hitches appear to have a 500# limit on the tongue weight, if no WD system 
is being used, and only around 800# with a WD system.  My Excella may weigh 
as much as 8200#, with a tongue weight of 850-1000#.  I do have a Hensley, 
with WD (of course), but might need to loosen the WD bars to clear the 
driveway when backing in.  Would it be safe to use such a hitch for spotting?

2)  Do the front-mounted hitches sit higher than the rear hitches?  If so, 
then that would defeat the purpose of easing spotting, since it would lower 
the rear end and cause dragging sooner.,

3)  How do I connect so as to be able to use the trailer brakes when 
spotting the trailer?
