[A/S] Questions from European 1964 Bambi II owner

In the process of restoring our 1964 Bambi II trailer
I took apart the back window as it didn't close
properly. I noted that the torque arms weren't in line
with each other due to the fact that the nicks in the
torque bar were not completely opposite on both sides.
This results in a circa 10% angle between the two
torque arms so the window closes on one side but
remains slightly open on the other side. My question
is whether this is a fault in the torque bar or
whether it is intended. If intended, why is this?

Second question is that I am in need of new brake
lights for the back of the 1964 trailer. Anyone knows
where I could order these in the US. Vintage, replica
or just anything that fits!!!

Thanks,
