I can't be of much help with your first question, but may be able to 
provide a little assistance with your second question.  If your Bambi 
II has the Bargman 99 tail lights as did the balance of the '64 model 
year coaches, there are at least two options that I am aware of as 
follows:

Reproduction lenses for the original bases can be sourced through

A complete new unit that is similar in size, but of a different design
