It is truley one of, if not the best filter, other than reverse osmosis.
and certainly seems a very worthwhile investment considering you never know 
about your water supply if you are travelling, even here in the Northeast, 
there are bugs in some water supplies on Cape Cod, at least there had been in the 
past.
I did reasearch on different filters. this one filters out spoors such as 
crypto-sporidiam, and giradiah (probably misspelled that), not many do.
