You might try contacting Everpure directly on their "technical info line"
(800) 942-1153  [www.everpure.com].  The company is very reputable and
responsive to their customers.  Google also lists many dealers who will
discount the Everpure line.

I have had dealings with the Everpure distributor in Southern California
(Carson - near Los Angeles), Water Inc. (800) 322-9283  [www.waterinc.com].
They have always been very good with parts, etc. Water Inc. has handled the
Everpure line for many many years, and are very knowledgable.

As long as I can remember, the Everpure filter attachment system (on all of
their disposable filters, even those for commercial use) utilizes the same
bayonet (1/2 or 1/4 turn) and often has a lever shut off valve in the head
of the unit (like the current RV unit, which I also have in my trailer).  If
you don't have this type, you ought to consider getting a new one of the
current design.  Camping World often has them on sale.

As a retired cabinetmaker who used Everpure filters in many kitchens, they
are far and away the best.  Their charcoal filter guts uses a unique
"fabric" which is impregnated with the activated charcoal and provides a
large exposed surface area to the incoming water. [Most carbon filters
simply have a filling of coarse charcoal which can clog prematurely (before
the charcoal's adsorption capacity is used up, or "tunnel" whereby a
shortcut path develops and the water bypasses most of the charcoal.]

Everpure products tend to be a little pricey, but they are typically far
superior to their competition.
