[A/S] Drinking from the Fresh Water Tank

we otoh, do drink from our tank but I never put pink antifreeze in my tanks.
After winterizing. I flush with properly diluted bleach (which sits overnight in
the tank) and then rinse 15 gal thru the tank twice then finally bring it up to
about a 1/3 and add the treatment chemical. I also then change out the filters.
one goes on the shore water inlet and the other goes into the fresh water
drinking spigot on the kitchen sink back.

This is an annual thing.  If we stay one place long enough, I break out a Brita
and start producing doubly filtered water.
