We have been living in Yellowknife for a few years now and living 
rather meekly.  We live on a houseboat with a wood stove for heat.  
We are up to the challenge of living in our Airstream up there.  Cold 
mornings are no stranger in our lives.  

It will probably be a good idea for us to lay some sort of overlay 
once the inner wall is insulated...I have already thought about the 
ribs causing some intense heat transfer (or rather, cold transfer!)
and i think that some sort of overlay will help insulate it to a 
liveable state.  Maybe even a few thin layers of the blue insulated 
styrofoam panelling and then some vapour barrier...

Oh yeah, we were planning on using cork on surface of the walls.  
Right now there isn't any visible aluminum on the inside.

I guess now all I can say is that we are out to prove you wrong (Tom) 
and show that living in an Airstream in the Canadian Arctic is 
possible with a little ingenuity and work.

If anyone out there has heard of someone insulating with Urethane 
Foam it would be great to hear their thoughts on it.
