I did a winter in one in Spokane, WA with temps down to -30 F.
Clearly, I lived through it ;) We put about 6 inches of cardboard on
the floor for insulation, since we were very short of money at the
time. The propane would heat the trailer enough that you couldn't see
your breath any more while you were inside. And you had to stay
bundled up the entire time.

Propane really does not put out enough heat for extremely cold
climates. I still heat with it at my house and it certaily doesn't
provide the warmth that wood heat does.  You might be okay for a short
time in your Airstream during a winter like that. If you really want
to full time through it, you'll need a covered building that can be
heated by some other means.
