         I don't know what you think I'm doing, but I'm simply asking 
questions to determine whether to reduce my tire pressure to 50 psi is a 
good idea; evidently, it could well be.  But I never just accept what is 
said on the internet (by anyone) without further queries and investigation.
         I never heard of wheels splitting until the issue came up on this 
list; so, I wanted to know why and how they would split.  Jack Canavera has 
satisfied me on the underinflation issue that had concerned me, and the 
Goodyear charts on the loading issue.  I'd still like to know exactly what 
"wheel splitting" means - is it that the welds fail?
