[A/S] Tire inflation[

Contrary to popular opinion, any tire ever made, is inflated to it's 
maximum pressure, unless specified by the load.

A load range "D" tire on an Airstream trailer can be inflated to 65 
PSI, but "ONLY" if it is carrying the appropriate load.

For a standard 31 foot trailer, typically loaded, a "D" tire can be 
inflated to 55 PSI. If that same trailer carried another 1000 pounds, 
then and only then would that "D" tire be inflated to maximum.

The same holds true for "C" tires.

Inflating a "C" tire to maximum is not necessary and is not 
recommended, "UNLESS" the tire needs to carry that extra load.

Over inflation, without the addition load being imposed, causes a 
very rough ride for the trailer.

Granted, the fuel economy may slightly increase, but the punishment 
the trailer will take because of it, is not justified.
