Dick5368 The "C" tires do not weaken the wheels. Install an additional load on the old wheels from "D" tires is the problem. Again, all wheel manufacturers say "don't do it" as the wheels, depending on the use, will split. High tire air pressure, hot pavements, high speeds, lack of proper running gear balance, all add to the problem. Andy
