Just a thought...
Wonder what would happen if a 12 VDC battery was used on the charge
terminals in the EU2000 gen sets?  As we know the EU is a DC generator
with an inverter tied to it to make the 120 VAC.   Would the battery 
offer a
short heavy current to provide the starting current for the air 
conditioner?
Just food for thought... If that would work a EU2000 would run the Air 
C.
