I don't mean to cavil, but I'm sure you mean 3000 watts.  3000 amps 
would be enough juice to run 7 (all electric) houses.

BTW if you pull all 3000 watts it takes 18-3/4 charge hours to replace 1 
run hour at 100% efficiency, which has yet to be achieved on this or any 
other planet known to man.  Or woman.

I think if I needed A/C I would rig up an outside plug just for the A/C 
and run a 2 kW generator like the EU2000 just for that load and use the 
solar/inverter setup for everything else.  If it's raining and you still 
need A/C, north is thataway.

At my age you want the best of ALL worlds.
