Marvin:  
My 2005 CCD tail lights, hinges, etc were corroded on receipt from dealer. A.S.  
recommended a dealer/service for remediation. They removed and sanded/buffed 
them. They are now dull and  don't look so hot.Don,t let them do that to your's. 
Insist on replacement.
