That's good advice and I agree. They are faster and will last years longer.
After "going through" 2 or 3 12VDC compressors over the years, I bought a
120VAC model. It has outlasted at least TWO of the 12V jobs and, so far
(knocking on wood), I haven't needed it where I COULDN'T get 120VAC power
for it.
