One important point I left out of my earlier post on your question involves
sharp right hand turns at either traffic lights or stop signs. Basically,
what you should know is that I'm not aware of any trailer that 'tracks' the
exact tire path of the tow vehicle thru a turn - the trailer's wheels will
take a slightly shorter path thru the turn. If you ever make a turn in dirt
or sand you can see this if you go back & look. With a 90 degree right hand
turn from the 'outside' lane, the trailer  will follow that slightly shorter
'track' or path. Curbs might be the lesser of what you could hit. People on
a sidewalk? Municipal (stop) signs, poles for street lighting? A gasoline
pump? When faced with a 'tight' right hand turn, on approach to the
intersection you can sometimes get away with positioning your rig
straddeling the lanes (which usually upsets the motorists behind you). But
another manouver you can take, if you don't think you can make the right
hand turn safely and without denting your new AS, you can always go straight
ahead and take a series of 3 left hand turns, thus putting you onto the road
you needed to make that difficult right hand turn. All you've then done is
make a sort of loop to avoid having your AS come in contact with people or
sign/light poles.

Most all of us have done bits & bobs of damage to our rigs as we go along,
