Dan,

During the years my kids played Little League ball we had sponsorship signs
painted for the outfield fences. The sign painter always used 3/4" or 1"
marine grade plywood and the signs stayed up for years. Might want to check
with a few local sign painters...maybe they will sell you some or at least
tell you their source. IIRC the sheets are about 3-4 times the price of CDX.
