On this web site you can see a chart listing Airstreams by year of 
manufacture and by size desired. This gives you the opportunity to 
see the various floorplans offered throughout a models lifespan or 
by model year. I have a '75 31 foot Sovereign Inernational. I love 
the flow of the unit. Almost like an apartment. It was designed not 
for a family, but for 2 people to have the utmost in comfort and 
convenience. My rig has the rear twins (I too wish for the queen), a 
center bath with a large wardrobe area. This can be closed off 
giving you a "changing room". The front is the basic front goucho 
with a fold up dining table on the street side. The light weight of 
the '70s units means a greater selection of tow vehicles, and the 
Formica style material used in the interior walls and cabinets is 
extremely durable. I do have to confess to having seen a 1968 
Sovereign in better than showroom condition and fell for the genuine 
walnut cabinetry, but I would not be any happier with any other 
Airstream than I am with the one I have now. Aluminum fever....Catch 
it!
