There are so many horror stories around about the Goodyear Marathon radials
(the only thing your local Goodyear dealer will have to recommend) that I
would not consider them. They are not an exact size equivalent to the
original 7.00X15  bias ply tires the older trailers were designed for. Bias
ply 7.00X15 trailer and truck tires are still available just a little harder
to find. The older narrow bias ply tires provide the needed sidewall
strength and blowout resistance the Marathon's seem to be sorely lacking.
