[A/S] Paid Dues Tent Camping

Like others, we started with a tent (borrowed) 'cause that's what we could
afford. Loved it. After first son was born, rented a Scotsman from a friend
for our one week (per year) vacation. After second son arrived and grew a bit,
we went back to the tent (new, this time) and had great family adventures -
Sierras, Yellowstone, Tetons, Sequoias, Yosemite, etc. Ten years later when we
learned that another baby was coming, wife announced that she was no longer
interested in sleeping on the ground. Got a LoLiner - lots of fun, minimal
space, but the older boys slept in the tent. A few years later, bought our
first Airstream - a 12 yr old single axle 21'. More good times. Have since
upgraded several times to 31'ers and now downsized to a 25' Safari - just right
for the two of us. I hope it will be "just right" when our granddaughter is
old enough to go with us. LOL. We've had wonderful times and memorable
experiences that are unbeatable. Hope others can all say the same.
