Are you sure you won't pay the sales tax when you get your tag?  We
bought our trailer in Georgia but registered it in Florida.  Since we
didn't pay the sales tax to the "non-dealer" owner, we had to pay it
when we got the tag.  I don't get why Florida got the sales tax.
However, I would assume both states would be similar.  When we switched
the registration to Georgia, we did not pay the sales tax again as GA
and FL have a reciprocal arrangement.
