The "dealers cards" that I have seen in Georgia are not temporary tags,
official or otherwise.  They are simply advertizing tags, the same ones you
will see on all the cars,  sold or not, sitting on the dealer's lots.  If I
buy a vehicle in Georgia, I have 30 days to put a tag on it.  Even if I buy
it from an individual.  There is no requirement to have any tag on it during
that 30 days.   And if I buy it from an individual who is not a licensed
dealer, I don't have to pay sales tax on it.
