Actuators cost less than $800.00.

A good "G" force sensor controller that works very well with the new 
style actuator (at least the type we use),sell for $120.00 or a 
little less.

Therefore if someone has the original "disc brakes" from Airstream, 
they can add the new style actuator and a new controller for "far 
less" money than converting to pure electric brakes.

There is no need to make a giant braking step backwards, because of 
price.

Some dealers, who choose not to be informed of the new style disc 
brakes, may quite well try to talk an owner into electric brakes.

Hopefully, because of this Airstream related site, and others, the 
word will rapidly get out that there is absolutely no need to convert 
disc's to electric.

Thats almost like saying "a box trailer is better than an Airstream."
We all know the answer to that one. 

I understand that Airstream will shortly offer disc's as an option.
