RE: [A/S] Old style Airstream disc brakes

We are one the same page on this one. $800 for the actuator is about in
line with what I found while shopping around for the best price on the
ElecDraulic unit, but it lists for over $900. I agree that moving back to
electric drum is a HUGE step backwards. I am curious since you are
installing newer actuators which manufacturer did you select for those
units. As I mentioned, from my research, MasterBrake with their ElecDraulic
and BrakeSmart units seemed to have the best of breed, but as technology
continues to move forward, I would like to know if you have found something
better. In my situation I am looking at making the HUGE step forward away
from electric drum to hydraulic disc on our '02 Bambi LS.
