David, I don't know the year of your trailer but do
you have the stove hood and vent fan that exits on the
side of the trailer? I've been in some storms where
the wind has blown enough to force water into the
exhaust vent and from there it ran down the wall.

I normally secure the cover when fowl weather
approaches to prevent that from happening again.
