leak

hello from the road,

got caught in a bad storm in fort worth several days ago and i
noticed a very slight leak coming from between the range hood and the
wall where the range hood connects to. got up on the roof and i
noticed some of the caulking around the pipe by the head was worn
with a small hole. might this have been where the rain was coming in?
anyone else experience leaking between the range hood and wall? i did
duct tape the hole for the short term and must go to camping world
and get whatever is the proper caulking. what do you folks in the
know recommend?
