Whew! I didn't realize my question would be as complicated as it's turning 
out.

My home TV uses an oval dish with three LNB's *BUT*  it is not rotatable like 
the one in the Safari.

Does HDTV uses a different satellite than regular programming, and I can't 
receive regular programming on the HDTV satellite?

Can't I simply rotate the dish on the Safari to point at the correct one for 
whatever I want to watch at the time?

                                    ....Ed....
