The reason I did not mention the 70's repair kit is because the frame
is much thinner and less beefier thans the 50's trailer. However
I'll be the first to admit that I really don't know if it will work
or not - what I do know is those 50's frames are VERY flexable and 1-
2" without any buckling (with the 70's trailers you usually see
buckling) is not a lot for those frames to flex - so if you have any
weight on the frame at all and its not attached well, I could see
where it would easily be flexing that much. I agree if it is truly
bent - it would be from a spare tire or black tank or haul rocks (ie
Lucy) in the rear.
