Tom - I can't speak for others, but my Ford dealer told me that I would void
my F250's 5-year extended warranty if I installed either the after-market
exhaust brakes or the power chip. You'll love your truck's towing power and
I've found the combination of the truck and trailer brakes to be sufficient
(tho I've not had to deal with any emergency stops either. Also, I haven't
pulled in the mountains yet.
