[A/S] Re: Auxiliary holding tank

Welcome to the wonderful world of boon docking, Jack! You will find that
there are many little ways to conserve water. Like take a bucket or pitcher
in the shower with you and catch the cold water that runs before the hot
water gets there, and use this cold water to flush the toilet. Too wash hands
put the stopper in the sink and run a small amount of water as you soap up
your hands then use the water in the bowl to rinse. Too brush your teeth
fill a small glass with water and use that to wet the brush and rinse after.
Of coarse when possible use the campground facilities to shower, shave
and brush teeth, etc. Wipe dishes with a damp paper towel, then wash
them just once a day and do not let the water run when rinsing.

We have dry camped up to a week with no problems or discomfort.
It's a lot of little things that make the difference. You never stop learning
new tricks. This is a major topic of conversation when boon dockers are
shooting the bull. Others on this list are also offering good ideas. Just
pick what works best for you!
