[A/S] Leveling your trailer/puller combo

Hi, All,

This conversation about the fridge reminds me of a problem we've continually
faced because our front driveway is deeply sloped. This makes it virtually
impossible to hook up our A/S to our Suburban in a level fashion using our
Hensley hitch if we're parked in front of our house.

We usually bring our 30' A/S up from the back yard to our front driveway 2-3
days before we leave for a trip in order to air it out, stock the food, etc.
In the meantime we unhitch our Suburban in order to fill it with gas, use it
for errands, etc.

NB: We have found that it's impossible to align the trailer and Suburban
perfectly (or even close) when it comes time to hook up and leave, due to
the slope of the driveway. Therefore, I've found the solution is to hook it
up as best as possible (we use a Hensley hitch), drive to a nearby level
street, unhook, level everything and then re-hitch up perfectly level. It
takes a few extra minutes but works much better and I've learned not to cut
corners in this regard....

All the best,
