Just got home from the "Big E" joint WDCU and New England Unit rally! 
Great turnout, 30 trailers and lots of old and new faces!  Anyway, I 
had taken the fake fleece wraps off that I had around the strap of the 
McKesh mirrors to keep it from rubbing the door of the Suburban and 
guess what? No noise! Maybe they kept the strap from being tight on the 
door and caused a vibration, who knows!

Back to the rally. If some of you are not attending rallies you don't 
know what fun you are missing! Airstreamers, on the whole, are a really 
great bunch of folks. The BIg E fair was so much fun, I had never heard 
of it. Its an annual affair run by the New England states and if you 
can think of it, it was there! Ate myself through the whole day. 
Lobster from Maine, maple cream from Vermont, don't know where the 
steak sandwich came from but it was good. Wild blueberry muffins from 
Conn., bread pudding from New Hampshire, just to name SOME of the stuff 
I bought or consumed! BUT none of it compared to the potluck supper 
back at camp!!

So now I'm bummed that my summer road trip is over and I have no more 
long weekends off from school to attend more rallies! Time for 
retirement!! Yea!!
