Re: [A/S] gps in a suburban
Here're two things I've done to support my laptop;
I made a bench out of styrofoam sheeting to fit over the console on my old
Mountaineer. Put a porous pad (cooling dontchaknow) on top to keep the
'puter from sliding.
In the new Expedition I use one of those folding stools that are sold by
Camping World. That fits on the floor between the center console and dash.
Same pad. Computer is easily seen by the driver or passenger.
Been doing this for many, many miles no serious problems.
Delorme is our program/gps of choice.
Good luck!
