While some people are a little hesitant to purchase Firestones due to the 
Explorer/Firestone combination problems, I have been pleased with the 
dry/wet weather performance and the wear on my LT245-75-16 Steeltex E rated 
tires which came on my '01 Chevy 2500hd.  I'm just over 35,000 miles as my 
warranty expires tomorrow.  I swear that it looks like these tires have 
shown no wear at all.  I rotate every 7-7500 miles and they seem to wear 
evenly.  It looks like I won't have to replace them for a few more years.
