[A/S] Re: tv connection
I am really surprised that Radio Shack didn't have anything for
this. Lately their slogan has been, "You've got questions? We've
got blank stares." Try going back and finding the one guy in the
stpre that knows what he is doing.
Some previous owner retrofitted my 1979 so the connection box on the
wall now has a short coax cable coming out of it. There is also a
small switch and LED on the box for an amplifier inside there, but
those might be original. I haven't taken it apart to see how it was
done.
Having said that, I'm sure there is an adapter available. Seems to
me you could get one of those female coax plugs with the twin screw
terminals to attach ribbon cable (old style antenna lead) to, plug
that into your TV. Then put a two pin plug on the other end of the
ribbon cable and plug that into the wall jack.
