Charles,

If you believe that Ford recommends low pressure, check with the tire 
manufacturer and they have the load ratings at various pressures.  Just 
match the weight on each tire with the correct tire pressure.  My 
PowerWagon weighs 5500 lbs, wet, and the 12.5x16.5 BFG All Terrains are 
rated at 2910 lb each at 50 psi.  I run 25 psi unloaded in each tire.
