Re: [A/S] Hopeful for the Haddaway leadership

I probably shouldn't reply because I'm not in the group (WBCCI), but
I've been on this list long enough to form some opinions, and have
clicked over to the forums page and WBCCI page when directed by Jack
in his posts. From the posts I believe it will be about 2 years from
the time Jack started posting his non-formal rally in 2006. Jack,
correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are planning the rally, aren't
you the host? So far there is a pot luck planned, and if I understand
the non formal rallies, there is usually happy hours. How much
planning can you cram into 2 nights and 1.5 days of a non planned
rally before you have a declared formal rally for us old farts, WW2
vets, blue haired, old-timers that can party harder and longer than
the younger set could ever imagine. You know there is still about a
year and a half to go, I bet you won't be able to refrain from adding
to the schedule. Any action out there?

If you anticipate problems why not move it forward or back. Possibly
those that are going to the international would be supportive of your
rally and you could get another 10-15 trailers out.

That's a shame you feel this way. Soon I'll have an Airstream and
hope to be an active member, and if things are as bad as you say they
need your help. Your a young guy, be nice, be helpful. You too will
soon be old and the younger generation will be knocking at your door.
In a couple of years you'll see. In the meantime don't let things get
ugly. Life is too short. We all have different interests, we all come
from different walks of life. Airstreams are the things that bring
you folks together, enjoy what everyone brings to the table young and
old. AL
